I Roots founder, Will Tucker originally hailed from the country of Belize C.A., to Mpls MN, carries with him real Caribbean vocals and vibes. He got his start at the tender age of eight playing drums for the Boys Brigade and other bands. Eventually, he discovered his love for singing, and has nurtured his talent by vocalizing with various reggae bands. His first album is called, Peace & Love with songs like: Ego, Africa, Wanna know you, Want ti, Politricks, Mr. Greedy, Are you ready and Praise him. Will has had the privilege to open and share stages with many legendary artists like: The Wailers, Meditations, the late great Lucky Dube, Third World, Sister Carol, Burning Spear, and also the late great Peter Nelson and the Shangoya band, and many others. His impressive and impeccable reputation of talent and professionalism, along with his signature stage performances, continues to take reggae music to greater international heights. Will is acknowledged as one of the most exciting performers in the reggae business to date. Will also has the privilege to perform on a regular basis at the Harbor Bar reggae festival, "Reggae on the River." He is a skilled Drummer, Bassist and a Keyboard player. Along with I Roots, he sings and plays standard reggae, ska, soca, calypso, and other Caribbean music. I Roots have been performing in the Twin cities reggae scene since 2003 |

Minneapolis has been the home based area for I Roots since 2003.
